ArredoDesignOnline ships throughout Italy, in most European Countries and in north America. The transport of goods is done by couriers specialized in furniture delivery. The deliveries are made with a telephone notice to the customer a few days before, giving him/her a chance to arrange for delivery in a convenient time slot from Monday to Friday. For this reason it is important to specify a phone number to which you are always available.
The couriers do not deliver on appointment, but they try to respect the availability considering the customer's delivery schedule. For optimal and precise service we suggest to always check that the destination is accessible to vehicles between 7 and 12 meters long.
Some small items or replacements can be sent using express couriers, to speed up the service. Delivery with these carriers is done on the street level, as the handling of goods is not binding.
All products are shipped with regular documentation for transport and sale, valid for the 24-month warranty on defects compliance. In order to allow us to provide you with full assistance and coverage for damages during transport, please read the Behaviour upon Delivery section.
The estimated delivery date is formed by Production Time, indicated on each product sheet, plus the shipping.
In the product sheets the difficulty in assembling the item is also reported in order to give an indication of the possible operations to be carried out to assemble the product. The furniture installation is an additional service that must be specifically requested by the customer to our Customer Service before shipping. Most products travel pre-assembled and further details can be found on the assembling page.
The shipping is free on street level and is done by couriers specialized in furniture delivery, and adept in handling the packages ensuring their integrity.
During the purchase phase it is possible to choose the desired shipping service that can be on the street level or inside the house with a supplement. The Home Delivery does not take into account possible supplements for reaching the address of disadvantaged places and/or particular equipment for moving the packages inside the house. By select this method of shipping the customer is required to verify the feasibility of delivery by checking that there is enough space available for the packages and staff. Shipping times in Italy may vary from 7 to 15 working days, depending on the destination of the goods.
The transport of goods is done by couriers specialized in furniture delivery. Delivery is on street level unless otherwise requested (with an additional cost that depends on the volume of goods and the country of destination).
For non-EU countries, delivery takes place under the DDP clause. In this case ArredoDesignOnline.com makes the delivery by placing the goods at the disposal of the buyer, cleared for importation, on the arrival transport vehicle ready for unloading at the agreed destination. ArredoDesignOnline.com bears all the costs and risks involved in transporting the goods to the destination and with the obligation to clear the goods not only for export but also for importation, to pay for both export and import rights and to carry out all customs formalities.
VAT or other similar taxes are the buyer's responsibility. Delivery times in Europe range from 10 to 20 working days depending on the country.
USA AND CANADA
The transport is done by specialized couriers in furniture delivery, skilled in handling the packages manually without the aid of mechanical means.
Delivery comes with DDP clause (Delivered Duty Paid). DDP is one of the contractual clauses used in international trade, those codified inside Incoterms and are valid for all types of transport: it's a transaction where the seller pays for the total costs associated with transporting goods and is fully responsible for the goods until they are received and transferred to the buyer. This includes paying for shipping costs, export and import duties, insurance and any other expenses incurred during shipping of the goods. DDP is a type of delivery agreement that puts all of the risks and charges with the seller of the goods until delivery is made in the buyer’s country at an agreed-upon location.
Delivery times in the USA via ship range from 20 to 30 days depending on the city of destination. The indicative date of delivery is the sum of the days from the Production Time indicated on each product, and the days from the Shipping Time.
There is also the opportunity to ask our customer support to send the goods via air with a significant reduction of delivery times ranging from 8 to 15 days but with a considerable increase in costs that will be discussed with our staff.
Some locations may require additional costs for shipping, as it means we will have to use a different method of delivery (trucks between 7 and 12 meters long) should be used. Here are some examples:
- Smaller islands except Sicily and Sardinia
- Lake areas accessible by ferry
- Limited Traffic Zones (ZTL)
- Construction areas
- Pedestrian areas
- Historical centres
When ordering, the Customer is required to check whether the delivery address of the order is in any situation listed above. For more details please contact our customer service to check if the destination is included in one of these locations. In the event you make a purchase without reporting the delivery in a disadvantaged area, ArredoDesignOnline will require the cost of the supplement before shipping the goods.
ArredoDesignOnline allows the collection of the goods at the warehouse in Via per Sacile 160 in Francenigo (TV) - Italy.
The collection can be from Monday to Friday from 8.00 a.m. to 12.00 noon and from 2.00 to 6.00 p.m.
When filling out the order, selecting the withdrawal from stock, the customer will have one ADDITIONAL DISCOUNT only visible in the basket, which allows further savings. Once the goods have arrived at the warehouse, we will notify you via email and telephone that the order placed is ready for collection.
We recommend you carry out the pick-up with appropriate means and also to rely on couriers specialized in the transportation of furniture.
At the time of the pick-up, we provide documentation required to transport or in case of pick-up by a courier we will send a copy of the documents via email to the address indicated in the order.
Once the goods have been collected, ArredoDesignOnline will no longer be responsible for damage or packages lost in transit.
